A standard electrical panel upgrade typically takes 6-8 hours to complete, depending on the complexity of your existing system and the size of the new panel. This includes safely disconnecting power, removing the old panel, installing the new panel, updating circuits, labeling, and ensuring all connections meet current electrical codes. Your power will be temporarily off during the installation, but we work efficiently to restore service as quickly as possible.

Most electrical work requires permits, including panel upgrades, new circuits, rewiring, service increases, and major installations. We handle all permit applications and coordinate inspections as part of our service at no additional charge. Minor repairs like replacing outlets, switches, or light fixtures typically don't require permits. We'll always inform you if permits are needed and ensure all work is code-compliant and properly inspected.

You'll need to be home or have someone present when we arrive for the initial assessment and to grant access to electrical panels and work areas. Once work begins, you don't necessarily need to remain home for the duration, though many clients prefer to be available for questions or decisions. For commercial projects, we can coordinate with building managers or designated representatives.

We stand behind our work with comprehensive warranties. Labor is typically warranted for 1 year from the completion date, while materials and equipment carry manufacturer warranties ranging from 1-10 years depending on the product. All warranties are detailed in your project contract. If you experience any issues with our work, simply contact us and we'll make it right at no additional charge.

Our electricians use proper safety equipment, conduct thorough testing before and after work, clearly label all circuits and panels, and ensure proper grounding and bonding. All work is inspected by local authorities when required. We also provide safety recommendations to homeowners and businesses to prevent future issues.
